Approved Worker Process
Thank you for your interest in serving in our children and youth ministries, in SpiritKIDS, SpiritKIDS Jr, Awana, or SpiritYOUTH.
There are two parts to step one. Please complete both as soon as possible to ensure a quicker turnaround.
1) become a Member of SpiritCHURCH.
If you are not a member of SpiritCHURCH, please follow these steps:
Attend the SpiritCHURCH Growth Track – You can sign up for the next class at spirit.church/signup.
Turn in your membership card to the church office for approval at the next Deacon Meeting
1. Commit to living by Biblical Standards in every area of your life. (Relationships, Social Media, lifestyle, etc.)
2. Engage Faithfully in a weekly Worship Experience.
3. Commit to growing in your relationship with Jesus and connecting with others in the church. (Worship Experiences, SpiritGROUPS, Discipleship and Serving Opportunities)
4. Connect consistently to a SpiritTEAM by serving according to my gifts and abilities.
5. Support the SpiritCHURCH through prayers, encouragement, & tithe.
*If you are a college student, Growth Track Class or becoming a member is not required to serve.

Please include two names, phone numbers, and their email addresses. Personal references can not be related to you or be on staff at SpiritCHURCH. We will send them a personal reference survey to complete on your behalf. If the link above does not work, you can share this link directly with your two references.
2) The third step is to complete the Background Check form.
This form will be emailed to you. It will ask for basic identity information.
3) The fourth step is to complete the Ministry Safe Training.
This training will be emailed to you. This is approximately a one-hour virtual training that covers child safety topics.
Once your Background Check has been completed, your Ministry Safe training has been completed, and your two reference surveys have been returned, you will be contacted for the final step.
4) Meet with one of our pastoral staff for a brief interview to go over our child safety manual.
This short interview allows our team to get to know you face to face and go over any additional questions you may have and to ensure you are prepared to serve.
- We try to make the process move along as quickly as possible, as we desire to have you serve, but there are multiple steps as we work to ensure SpiritCHURCH is the safest church on the planet.
